Corollary, or A Note About Friending:
I am very receptive to friending, but please do me the favor of dropping by my pinned post here and letting me know who you are and why I have anything to say that interests you --if only so that I can endeavor to be more interesting to you in the future.
I do not like being friended by blank journals. In fact, I have a filter designed for the purpose of excluding these, and I do occasionally sift through my friends list to make sure all journals are in use. As that's not very many journals to filter, you can bet I'll notice if yours is empty.
Final Warning:
I try to be even-handed and civil; I appreciate debate and I am learning (slowly) to listen as much as I talk. Constructive criticism, contributions of all shape and sizes matter to me, and I appreciate whatever y'all choose to share in this space.
That said, I draw some lines. Hate Speech is not permitted here. Neither are ad hominem attacks. I give one public warning. The next offense ends in de-friending and banning.
The legalese aside, I am generally very friendly and you are welcome to contact me through messages here, or via my AIM handle, which is the same as my user name.
